Shelly was a beautiful and smiley Pit Bull that came into the shelter as a stray. Her happy go lucky personality was noticed by all who came into contact with her. One day though, while Shelly was on a walk, one of the other dogs escaped from his cage and bit Shelly. Shelly was terrified and from then on she was very scared of any other dog that approached her. After spending many months at the shelter, Shelly was finally able to be sent to a rescue. This organization would help Shelly work through her fears of other dogs and help her to share her beautiful smile with all creatures, not just people. Now she is very happy and living with an older lady, in a home that the rescue had found for her. Everyday Shelly and her lady have become more and more bonded.
