Samantha was an absolute wreck when she came to the SPCA. Her owners had dropped her off because they were moving and did not want to take her with them. She was so upset and terrified, she growled and shook when anyone tried to approach her. Finally though, after days, Samantha was able to show her true colors. She was taken outside of her cage and was a completely different animal. She ran and played and begged for attention! Samantha was a Pit Bull mix, who was lucky enough to find a young couple who loved her for who she was. Samantha’s name was changed to Samurai and she left the building a very grateful and happy dog.
Her family gave her years and years of unconditional love. She passed away due to cancer, but lived her life being cared for by the sweet couple, her brother, Ned, the boxer, and her two human siblings too. She was given a life that is every dogs' dream.
