Laddy's Story-
Aladdin or "Laddy" for short, was found abused and brought into a NJ shelter in 2013. Laddy was scooped up by a loving foster so he could have a chance of making a full recovery. He had several broken bones and was emaciated.
Years later, his foster, Michele, who became his forever mom, has this to say about him, "Aladdin is such a kind dog with a wonderful heart. Despite the horrible abuse he suffered he loves everyone that he meets, kids especially and he was made to share his love."
Laddy is the picture of resilience. He suffered at the hands of humans, but later with the love of Michele, he became a therapy dog. He provides comfort and smiles to so many - both sick and healthy. He disproves the stereotype and mislabeling of "pit bulls" and is kind and gentle to all. Laddy gives so much in his life and the care Michele provides for him is unconditional.
A portion of the proceeds of this card will be donated to Laddy's care.
Laddy had a recent cancer diagnosis but was given the very best medical care and is now believed to be cancer free. His medical care cost thousands and as Laddy and Michele have given so much of themselves to helping their community, we are so happy to give back to them
