The title "Inherently Dangerous," was made as a commentary on legislation passed in areas of our own country, that involve the ban of Pit bulls. All Pit bulls within the affected counties are deemed to be vicious dogs and are banned from living the life that most beloved pets do. If a dog resembling a bully is found running at large there, the dog is taken and euthanized within days. If an owner is found, they have the opportunity to claim their dog, only after paying hefty fines. Sadly, most are left to die. Here are two Pits bulls that had both originated from the state of Maryland. Their soft and gentle natures hopefully illustrating a clear contradiction in the newly passed law.
The original drawing of "Inherently Dangerous," was done with watercolor, colored pencil and pastel.
