Below are just a few of the drawings, paintings and mixed media pieces created over the past few years. These are archived images and not available for purchase. Customized portraits are available in similar styles- contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Some of the following are personal pieces and others are commissions of families' beloved pets- many once shelter animals. Each have their own stories to tell. Their expressive and colorful portraits only help to assist in giving them a voice.
The images are meant to inspire more individuals to donate their time to helping animals who find themselves in shelters. For many, a shelter will serve as a last chapter, but there are alternatives if we all work together.
Spaying and neutering our pets is one way to dramatically reduce the number of animals that reach the shelter system.
Fostering is also another powerful way you can help an animal in need and a shelter that is at full capacity. Most of the animals featured here were saved and cared for by those who opened their hearts and homes to them.
